Willo

Here at Jumpoff Buffalo Ranch we have had two entire dinosaur skeletons found on our ranch.   The most famous of these is the Thescelosaurus named Willo.  The other dinosaur removed from the ranch is a T-Rex.  Willo was unearthed in 1993 from the Hell Creek Formation that goes through our ranch.  The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh purchased the fossil in 1996.  Willo the dinosaur has had CT scans and is thought to have a heart in her chest cavity.  Many articles have been published on this dinosaur in newspapers and magazines across the world.  She is a wonderfully complete specimen over 66 million years old.  It was about 13 feet long and around 665 pounds in the flesh.
